It was a surprisingly hot day and the rock and south facing bowl were a lot warmer than I would have like. Scott (my climbing partner) and myself made our way up through the mixed scrambling to the one pitch of climbing relatively quickly. The 5.6 pitch took a while, but we got through it and made our way up the rest of the way to the summit. This was about 50 feet of trad and sport climbing that Scott led and place a few cams and I followed. On the lower half we used cams, and on the upper part we used the bolts that were in place. I went over to the west summit to get a shot of the Peaks. This is a neat climb, but it is very brushy and is not likely to be one I do again, or often if I do it again. |
