I started at 1:15 and made the junction of the north overlook and the Sedona overlook at 3pm. I realized I didn't have enough time to make both overlooks so I settled on the Sedona overlook. I decided against summiting the actual summit when I saw how brushy and thorny the way to the top would be. I wanted to go to the Sedona overlook over the north overlook because I remember the views being better at the Sedona. They were good, but the sun's low angle killed the pictures. When I got down at sunset, there was a line of cars heading south from Sedona up to Midgely Bridge and beyond. It was a busy tourist weekend. The trail is obviously not being maintained. I had not been past the first bench since last winter when I did the north trail. Trees that were down across the trail at the top are still down across the trail.
