| no partners | | | I realize that as recently as last Friday I said I didn't want to do this for a while, but today was one of those really nice days that makes me happy I am living in Flagstaff for the time being and can head up the mountain on a sunny afternoon. It was so nice today I practically had to do this. I didn't even start until 1pm, but conditions were great and I summited and was back to my car in 5 hours. I'm still impressed with how much snow is up there and how the wind isn't blowing it all away. I wish I had sunny conditions like this when I did Agassiz last week, but it was still nice to have today. I'll probably do this route once more this season, either later in the month or early next month. I still want to try to make my next trip up on the Peaks an Inner Basin trip, possibly with a summit included. Incidentally, today was my 60th summit of Humphrey. |
