HAZ - Event

I wasn't sure how things were going to work out today because when I looked at the Peaks from town they appeared to be socked in with clouds above 10,500 or so. I went for it anyway and I had pretty sunny conditions going up. I passed through a layer of clouds that was about 500 feet thick on the west side, and then I came up out of the clouds to a nice blue sky. I was almost like being on one of the volcanoes in the Pacific North West. I got some great shots of the conditions. The snow hasn't been this good since the end of February of 2008. Now that we have a thick pack, we need some sun before a nice dry powder fall.
