I used this to reach Dry Creek Road and then the Secret Canyon Trail and then the David Miller Trail. The burned area isn't too bad. Lots of water running in the western half, and the AZ Cypress's are huge in that area. The loop seemed to be popular, because all of the people who were out on the trail east of the Soldiers Pass trail junction disappeared once I got west of the loop junction. Great views of Wilson Mountain.
