| no partners | | Did this hike on Oct 28, 2009. The temperature at the trailhead was 21 degrees, sunny and windy at 10:00 AM. Luckily I had plenty of warm clothing. The foliage was past, not much left, but the views were great toward Cottonwood and Sedona. We got hit with snow flurries on the way from the summit to the car. They stuck to me but not to the ground. The temperature had gone up a whole 2 degrees in the 2 hours of the hike. It stayed 23 until we approached Clarkdale at around 2:00 PM after lunch in Jerome. Despite the cold it was still a nice hike. |
