I can see why'd they compare it to Flatiron, but personally it reminded me more of hiking Pickpost Mountain just south of the Superstitions. The saddle that is described is actually a 'T' in the trail, which had me confused a bit because I was waiting for the trail to hit a real saddle before it hit the peak. After hiking to Mount Kimball earlier today, this trail kicked my tail a bit. The views up there are very nice, well worth the climb. Boy has Tucson grown in the last decade. |
