The forest road 152C has definetly seen some recent improvements with a new large parking lot. This trail just keeps on climbing up some pretty sweet geological layers; don't be fooled by the false summits. Of the four main mountains in the area this has the shortest trail with some spectacular views from on top, but I think I liked the views from Wilson and Munds better. Don't forget to circle around a bit and check out the views from the many sides, especially the Red Canyon side.. Unfortunately a recent fire has scorched the top a bit, but it doesn't take much from the experience. |
