| no partners | | I was planning a trip to the White Tanks today, so set a goal to get tracks on the remaining areas for Joe's map. Started at the Mesquite Trail head, up to the Ford Canyon Trail, north a bit to the Willow Canyon trail, then East on Willow Canyon. I also made a stop at the Willow Spring for a bite to eat. I suggest anyone who hikes up this way stops and checks it out. (Sorry no pictures, my camera was just dead weight today in the pack.) This appears to be where the old ranch was. There are some foundations remaining, bedsprings, water troughs, etc. Back to the trail head, in the truck for my next chore. Stopped at the Black Rock Loops and got those tracks. Next I drove to the Visitor Center for the Bajada Trailhead. Walked it out to the Goat Camp trail, then over to the South Trail backwards to the Trail head. A little road walking, and I was back to the Truck. That should do it for all the requested remaining trails out there. Have at it with your map magic now! |
