What an amazing canyon!!! We did this in two days and it was perfect. We hiked down on the first day and dropped off all of our camping gear at Indian Garden (we had a permit). From there, we headed down to the drop-in point for Garden Creek and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon soaking in the several waterfalls. Can't wait to do this one again!

Went through the canyon once and got the rope stuck somehow!! Ended up shuttling back up and running the canyon again to recover the rope. Fun day!

This was Bianca's first weekend in AZ (and her birthday weekend) and we were planning to hit up Illusions but the weather forecast wasn't looking good. We decided to change plans and head down to Mt. Lemmon to hit up the Seven Cataracts. We knew there was a forecast for rain later in the afternoon but we figured we would be out of there before then. In the event there was a flash flood, we had easy escape routes to wait it out so the risk was acceptable. We had fun going through and when we hit the last waterfall, the skies opened up and just doused us. The flow on the last waterfall doubled in the time it took us to get everyone down the rope! As we made our way back to the car, we had to cross a now-swollen normally dry creek that had water rushing by at almost waist-deep. What an adventure!

My first time through Insomnia and wow is this canyon fun and amazing! I brought my wetsuit along but never used it. There was very cold water but the ambient air temperature was warm enough and my rain jacket helped contain the warmth. That big rap is a bit terrifying when stepping over the edge! The bolts on the big rap need to be checked out. The right bolt hanger has pulled away from the rock so be aware!!

Water flow was light but enjoyable. The algae blooms were pretty big in some of the standing ponds of water but overall, the canyon was in great condition. The only negative was the massive amounts of poison ivy all over the canyon floor. The bottom area of the last big rap was just covered in PI and it made for a nerve-wracking hike up the sneak exit. We all promptly stripped down and changed as soon as we got to our car for fear of a major spread of PI oils.

Water flow was moderate and a bit cold but it was incredibly fun! Went out through the sneak route after the last big waterfall (not Cadillac exit).

First time through Sundance and loved it!! Water was pretty cold and that last rap definitely has a high clench factor.

My first trip to the Inner Basin! I was hoping to see some good fall colors but I was a little disappointed. The views of the yellow Aspens were awesome from Lockett Meddow but once we got inside the basin, most of the aspen trees no longer had their leaves. The strong winds from the day before stripped all of the aspens bare. :(

As of Saturday, the best views for foiliage in this area is from Lockett Meddow. There is nothing left in the Inner Basin except for a few small groups of aspens here and there.

My first trip to Antelope Canyon. Absolutely wonderful! It was definitely quite crowded but I took the photographer's tour so they at least help up the traffic of people while making those 10+ second exposures!

Did my first night hike! Started at 8pm with some friends. It was amazing how you could still see the trail with just the ambient city lights. We still used our headlamps though just to make sure we didn't step on any snakes, etc. The weather was AWESOME! The temperature was perfect and it was very windy (the dust was bearable). We summited and took some long exposure pictures and heard some bats flying around above us.

Great hike to do at night... Phoenix looks HUGE from up here!

First time on Squaw Peak.
Much easier than Camelback in my opinion but still had to take a couple of breaks in some places.
