Went to havasupai to see the damage from the flood 2 weeks ago. The pools were all gone, sad to say. The next morning another flood hit. Here are some before and after pics.

Did this hike which was waaaaay at the top of my list with ABC. Was a beautiful mountain with some of the best views of southern Arizona I have ever seen. Couple of the springs were flowing which in turn made the trip alot easier!

Took a few friends down on there 1st backpacking trip. The swimming holes are alot deeper now than last summer. Had a great time.

Went on my first trip to Havasupai on Saturday morning. Took 4 hrs to reach the campgound on sat. Spent Sat. at Mooney and Havasu Falls. Sunday went to Beaver Falls. The trail down was really easy. No crowds till about noon. Hiked out Tuesday night and took 5 hrs to get to the truck. My friend almost got bit by a rattler, and we had an owl swoop down at us several times! Great trip overall!

Did a 2 day solo backpacking trip through willis creek and then down sheep creek to bull pasture. had great weather, and pretty much the whole place to myself at night. Probably the easiest slot canyons ive ever been in!

I actually did the East rim trail, but couldnt figure out how to change it.(my computer skills stink!) Nice backpacking trip in Zion np. Flowers are in full force there now, temps are excellent. Being it was memorial day weekend, it was a bit crowded on the trail, but only for the first 2 miles or so. Even with the busy weekend i was able to walk up and get a permit. FYI the Stave spring up top is flowing.

did this as a solo trip and spent the night in the canyon, was perfect conditions. Warm during the day, and a bit chilly at night. Didnt see any animals really, but was still well worth it!

Drove up and spent the night friday on fr171, woke up saturday and started hiking at 8am. made it to the fire tower at 11. chilled up there for 30 min before heading down. great hike! saw some nice camp sites about a hundred yds behind the cabin.

well, i tried to do this as a solo hike, but about halfway up the scree, i realized a fall might be possible. also there was no one else at the trail head, so i knew id be in trouble if i fell, so decided to turn around. gonna try again if i can find someone to go with!
