Back on the trail with Paint after years of absence. I’m sure having a great time. Did Shaw Butte loop following Tibbers route. We probably put on a little bit of extra mileage, just losing the trail and finding it again. Got sprinkled on a couple of times, but only at the beginning. Going to run out of time for in town hikes soon. Gotta get it in while we can.

Did Kendrick for the second time with the girls of AZH! It was lots of fun! Jeannine (the new girl) and I summited with Michelle coming up behind us as we came back down! She got so close! I wish I had known she was coming so close... Plan to do it again so those who wanted to summit but couldn't for what ever reason can get a chance! Lookin' forward to it!

Took the Bill Hall down to the esplanade to cache water for a Thunder River Deer Creek hike in a couple of weeks! What a great trail! Steep! Lots of loose stuff to slip on Lots of cool rock formations to see. The climb out was a bear but I am glad we did it! Having the water on our last night at what ordinarily would be a dry camp instead of having to carry it all up will be a huge bonus!

Did this hike as a backpack over two days. Hiked in stayed one night and hiked out the next morning. Hiked it with Ted, Tom and Tracy. Had a great time! Nice little camp site. Standard Supes hike. Would do it again if I wanted to do a quick one nighter.... wouldn't mind warmer weather to camp in though!

Did it again! Same as last time with the day of rest inbetween This time however, we hiked South to North on Saturday on the Kiabab and then on Monday we hiked back again on the Kiabab (last year we hiked back on the Bright Angel. Had a great time! Planning next year already!

The hike over was in the rain all day and it was amazing! We got to watch the Canyon change right in front of us! An experience I will never forget!

Took the Kiabab into the Canyon and to Phantom Canyon. Played in Phantom Canyon for the day and spent two nights below the rim! What great fun! Hope to go back to this one! Loved it! I always love any hike in the Canyon!

Excellent hike with excellent company! Went with the AZH gang. Shawn and I were the only ones to do the whole loop with cross over. Every one else did wonderful variations of the hike. What a beautiful place! I loved the West side of the loop! I want to go back with a pack on my back some day and spend the weekend on in the meadows next to the LCR! I love this place!

Back packed in with full backpack and stayed in camp for three nights. You have to stay at least three in my opinion to see enough to make it worth it. A beautiful place over run with people. We saw of course Havasu falls, Mooney falls and Beaver falls. The hike down to Beaver falls was the highlight for me! Lost my sun glasses then later found them on some one else's face! Then on the way out scratched my cornea ducking behind a bush to use the facilities! If that guy weren't wearing my pink sun glasses my eyes would have been safe!

Great trip, just when I needed it! Strenuos but well worth it! Ring tail tried to get the trail mix I accidently left in my pack. That provide a couple of hours entertainment for some of us! Camped on the beach! I'd do it again. present were...Tracy, Suz, Tim, Hank, Tom, Todd, Linda and Ambika.

Had a great time on the hike. It was supposed to be a Canyon Lake to Peralta kinda hike but we got a late start so we cut it way back and went back to camp and started partying! It was all in the name of the AZH 3rd aniversary. What a great time!

Wonderful little canyon! Saw a couple of owls, one who visited with us for quite some time before we actually walked away and left it behind. Was hoping to start the New Year in the same area but got blown out of the area by a huge wind storm. Can't wait to go back and see what else there is to see!
