Luckily, the water was only about thigh deep and I had my Vibram Fivefingers shoes so I fared slightly better than some of the group! There was a little snow at the top of the canyon where we stopped for lunch. The hike itself was a gentle incline until you get the the actual drew trail, where it becomes much steeper, however its only about a mile or so to the top of the rim and the trail is pretty well maintained and easy to find. I will definitely be doing this hike again in the future! |
