Took my friend Katrina for the first time. She was not feeling well so we did not make it to the summit. Nice to get outside and go for an easy hike

Got back in town yest from my trip to Atlanta. Dehydrated and didnt eat well on vacation. Not able to make it to the summit, but was able to get a decent hike in... next time hitting the top

OMG, how is there no triplog for this hike???

Best up-north hike I have ever been on. The altitude will kick your butt, but the views are worth it. We made it to the saddle (11,805 feet), which is one mile from the summit. Unfortunately, we were not able to make it past this point because of weather. We were rained and hailed on, completely soaked. The weather was in the high 50s, low 60s. Best time of year to do this hike. Will definitely be back, and hopefully summiting at that time.

All I can say about this hike is WOW! What a gorgeous waterfall at the end. Took time for lunch and a swim. Water was a little cold this time of year, but I was able to warm up to it with time. The hike back out was more difficult than I would of imagined. I have done more elevation in less distance before, but this seemed more than what it really was. I think some of that has to do with the elevation change (I live in Phx). I would do this again in a heart beat.

My friend and I started out with the thought process that we were going to go as far as our legs would take us. A few different times in I said "OK I think Im done!". She kept pushing me on, and before I knew it I was at the TOP!!!!!! What great views. Best hike I have done in a long time. Coming down can be quite scary as there is loose gravel and a steep grade. I felt like one wrong move and I might die. Can't wait to do this mountain again next season.

It was super busy today. Everyone was out on Echo Canyon. We ended up having to park almost a mile -0.8- from the trailhead. So I am making the roundtrip on this hike 4.1 miles.

On my way out, two teenagers were starting up, and had NO water. I gave them my last bottle. Still not enough, but better than nothing.

I did part of the #306 trail, I did not do the North Mtn Summit. Not the most beautiful hike, but if you are up for a moderate/difficult climb close by, this one is good for ya.
