Gorgeous mountain views, tons of wildlife, and great camping sites. I saw tons of deer, my first tarantula in the wild, and honestly, some lemur type of thing (which I had no idea they had here). I don't feel as though some parts of the loop I did are good for beginners though. The east side of 139 especially I had to hunt for the trail several times. Saw lots of people (especially hunters...made me a little nervous, also had my dog with me). Again, one fabulous loop!!! Loved it, the forests were majestic. Oh, forgot, the black flies on the 140 and the 139 were horrible!! Not even off helped. It stank. |
