First hike in over a year, was slow going. I think we caught a 1/2 mile on another trail for a total of 2 miles, but I couldn't find it on the site.

First time on this trail, drove 3 hours to hike 3 hours :) well worth it. A day trip to hike with the hubby while the kids were in school. Didn't make it all the way to the end of the 2.9 mile trail before having to turn around due to time (I'm moving pretty slow after knee surgery) but got 5 miles in. I prefer less views of the town and noise of the highway but it was still an amazingly beautiful hike and the last stretch is next to the creek, which is my favorite :) the weather was a perfect 60 ish degrees until the last 15 minutes when it dropped quite a bit and hailed on us. Not crowded or touristy, fun hike!

Hiked in from Car Access #2 since it was an unplanned hike and we didn't have a 4x4 - My brother-in-law and sister-in-law came into town for the weekend to renew their vows in Sedona so we joined them in the fun :) We explored Bell Rock the day before and decided to do this one on the way out of town, what a beautiful view from Devil's Bridge!!! This was my first hike since my knee surgery and did much better than expected even though I was very very slow. Very touristy though and super crowded, we were kind of touristy the whole weekend anyhow since they are from Florida lol.

Beautiful day and beautiful scenery :) 1st time on this trail since last January... went with a couple of friends, couldn't keep up with their pace so they left me behind. It was a long hike solo, which would have normally been pretty Zen, but was preoccupied with being upset about being left behind. Such is life, still enjoyed the hike tremendously, though it took me a little over 3 hours to complete, with ample resting.
