Petit Palace: This is one of the two wings. Two wings flank the main entrance. These wings, continuing to the end (corner) pavilions, are embellished with free-standing columns that frame the tall windows.

This photo doesn't fully show you the Grand Porch on the right. The details are so interesting. The façade is almost 150 m long (490 feet) decorated in bas-relief and punctuated by colonnades. It is centred on a monumental porch with a gilded wrought-iron gate, the museum's symbol of recognition.
