This is a very busy round-about/intersection of the Champ Elysee. The expansive roundabout at the Rond-Point des Champs Elysées is adorned with lush flowerbeds and serves as the nexus for Avenue Franklin-Roosevelt, Avenue Montaigne, Avenue Matignon, Rue Jean Mermoz, and the Champs Elysées.
Officially renamed the Rond-Point des Champs Elysées-Marcel Dassault in 1991, this landmark commemorates Marcel Dassault, who purchased the Hôtel d’Espeyran at No. 7 Rond-Point des Champs Elysées in the early 1950s. The mansion, originally constructed in 1888, is now home to Artcurial, an auction house dedicated exclusively to art.
