I really am getting out of shape, and I am learning that snowshoeing isn't really my cup of tea. It's okay, but doing the same route as a normal hike seems much more pleasant to me. It does feel better going downhill. Going up I was like, "Huh, HUH! Damn!" but going down I was like, "Ha, I'm snowshoeing the PUMPKIN out of this snow!" Anyway, climbed almost up to point 7535, which had a nice view, although my pictures came out like crap. Definitely not worth the effort to lug the dSLR AND the tripod up that thing. Fraley: Your Tanque Verde set kicks butt compared to what I shot today. |
