Attempted to get up to burro flats but due to the recent rain the road was closed. Since I drove all the way up I thought I'd just explore around a bit. On the way up I saw a car parked along the road at what looked like a trail head. It turned out to be a great little hike. I just followed the diffrent paths and wandered up washes. at about 2.5 miles I bush whacked up to the top of a peak and got a great view of Hells Gate. I saw a huge carcus of a dead something. Horse or Cow I think. I also found a bunch of sweet petrogliphs around some of the washes.
