I second what Bob & Denny wrote. The hike is harder than the statistics. I think the boulder hopping/climbing combined with the direct sun on the way out take a little extra out of you. I was impressed with Vasey's Paradise not so much which Stanton's Cave. The rock formations are impressive on the route down. It's a good training hike as Bear Canyon trail up to Thimble Peak the next day seemed easy in comparison. Thanks Bob & Denny for enduring another tough one.
