We started early and it was cool with a nice breeze. It started to heat up on the way out but since we were heading down hill it wasn't too bad. We saw a few deer on the drive in and a red-tailed hawk on the drive out but the critters were hiding. Joe, Bob, Denny, Rose, Pat & Steve kept a good pace and made it through the obstacle course. The Y-bar trail has several downed trees again but you can follow it. This is a rough hike but worth the effort.
