I had some work to do around the house so that's what motivated me to go hiking instead.
I was already late (8:45a) so I decided to go north. I got to the TH at 10:16a and started right away. I was warm at first bus as I got higher up the breeze was cool and there were shady spots from time to time because of the trees that line the road. The views are great as everyone says. I especially liked seeing the second ridge in the Mazatzal Wilderness which is normally hidden at lower elevations. I saw a few hawks and a few squirrels, one mountain biker, One quad and one Jeep. For some reason my legs were tired but I still made it up in 2 hours and 17 minutes.
