A day of firsts. First time hiking in Flag., first time above 8,000 ft, first time hiking with Bob and Wally, first time to drive by Pride in the Pines.
I decided that since the trail was a little dusty, that I'd hang back a bit taking pictures (not that I could have kept the pace of the 3 Musketeers or is it the 3 Stooges). Either way, I didn't have to worry about the dust. I passed by the Cabin and made my way to the lookout for some Kick Butt views. There were many clouds and a few storms in the area. What a beautiful viewpoint. It started getting a little chilly so we made our way back down to the cabin for a bit of a snowball fight and to watch Bob and Wally ready their additional weight to get a workout going back down the Mountain.
