I started at 6:45 to avoid getting drenched or electrocuted. Most of the worst fire damage seemed to be near the bottom, while the rest of the trail had nice views most of the way up. Almost got attacked near the top by a vicious dog because some dumb lady didn't know how to use a leash. All you HAZers climbing Kendrick in the near future: I signed the little book in the cabin. Coming down, the clouds started to build up and no rain fell, so I stayed cool and dry.
