Sabino Canyon under a full moon in the summertime. There were more cars than I've ever seen after dark when I pulled in the parking lot. There was a couple sitting next to the pool I wanted to hang out at, but they left after about 5 minutes. I brought my innertube and floated around for a while. The place was hoppin' with the sounds of Sonoran Desert Toads and of bats whooshing by. All evening I heard groups of people pass by, but none came down to the pool, and I even heard many people remark that "there didn't look like there was any water." It was a lot later than I had expected when the moon finally hit my pool, but it was worth the wait.
