Nighthike with Tucson Hikers Meetup. Went swimmin' and in search of critters. Finally saw something other than Sonoran Desert Toads. Saw a gopher snake, a couple of tarantulas, a tiger rattler, and a small, coiled diamondback. We stopped a couple of times to lay on the warm asphalt to look for meteors from the Perseid showers. Timed the hike just right to hit reverse happy hour for drinks and food afterward.
