Bruised the heck out my knee up crossing the creek, got wet in the process, nearly soaking my camera. It was overcast and on of my two photo ops came with some fog floated through Cathedral Rock. As it was overcast I decided to bail early, but stopped to talk to a local parked up on the through. Thankfully I did or I would have missed Cathedral Rock momentarily getting lit up like a rocket. I would, however, rather been down at the creek when it happened. Every time I think the golden hour will be a dud, I regret it because I left the better photography spot. I need to learn not to give up on the conditions because you never know what will happen. Stopped by the Chapel of the Holy Cross for a BULB exposure before heading up to Flag.
