Started this one out at the blue wash turnout, on the north side of the road about 3/4 of a mile further than the trailhead mentioned in the other trip log. You have to cross the road, and there is a no shooting, and a trail head sign here. Just to clarify the trailhead from the previous triplog is about a half mile after the 2 mile marker on the south side of the road. There is a brown information sign at this trail head. Starting from blue wash was nice because we made somewhat of a loop out of the hike. Its a little harder because the incline is at the end but nothing beats that last push to victory. You'll have to walk about a half a mile down the road if you come back this way.

From the blue wash turn out cross the road, and head south down the wash. There are a few rocky drop offs to negotiate, but they werent too bad until you reach one that is about 8-10 feet. It looked very slick so we decided to look for an alternate route. there is a spot up and to the right that is the best way to go around it. From there head east down the wash that intersects perpendiculary. There isnt really any other way to go. Follow that for about a mile or so until you reach a large opening. This is where you head north east to the falls. You will be going back the way you came around the other side of the hill, which is where we got mixed up and added another 3.5 miles of going the wrong way and back tracking. Thats the only reason it took us four hours. We did run into a large bull snake and got to see an example of when 4 wheeling goes horribly wrong though. So round the bend to the north east at the large opening which I believe is camp creek.

Its about a half mile to the falls from there. There isnt much to see upstream and it gets very narrow and leads you away from the creek. Back out the way you came. We did end up getting a little off track on the way back and thats how we ended up at the other trailhead. This way is a bit narrower than going back up the blue wash. There are plenty of footprints and horse tracks so as long as you stick with those, you should be fine. The falls were running quite well the day that we took this hike, and the pool below was about waist deep. 10/10/10.
