| no partners | | | The hike started out a little chilly walking across the ridge at the beginning. I was wishing I had brought a sweatshirt. As we got going though, I felt fine. This was a really fantastic hike. There was plenty of water in the creek. The dog splashed around in it while Vlado and I tried to keep our shoes dry for the most part. We ran into a fairly large group coming out on our way in as well as a few people on horses. At the falls we had fun climbing around on the rocks and exploring a little ways upstream. We sat and sunned ourselves for a few minutes, enjoying the sound of the falls and the peace and quiet. On the return trip we saw some people with a couple of dogs. We got back to the truck almost 2 hours after setting out. This was a very nice hike! |
