Drove a way up the road until it got too rough, hiked the rest of the way. Liz's GPS told us 16.4 miles, so I am going with that. We got a little past where I had in January. It was really nice. Hardly anyone out, and the only signs of civilization were the very irritating helicopters in the canyon. Great hike.
