| no partners | | | After being denied access up into the Pinalenos for the 2nd straight morning due to the heavy snow closure, I drove out to the Cluff Ranch wildlife area and hiked the Pond 3 loop trail. Took my usual clockwise route with a side trip out onto a couple of mesas I'd never been on before and returned back via the washes to complete the loop. It lightly snowed on me the last half of the hike and keep the top of the Pinalenos hidden all day. Very cold day but always cool to hike the mountain foothills after a big snow fall! |
