| no partners | | | I had wanted to check out the site of the old stage station, and had the chance to do so on a lunch break while working in the area. I didn't expect much, but the station delivered. The ruins are in surprisingly good shape considering how old they are, and the information plaques were a nice surprise. After a quick visit, I ran up the road to explore Jordan Canyon. The road became a trail, then a cow path, and ultimately faded away in the pleasant oak filled canyon. I jogged back to my truck, and looked forward to reading about the area's history in my Dragoon Mountains history book. Definitely a fun way to spend an hour. |
