I weaseled out of work early today and went to play. Started at the locked seasonal gate at the end of the pavement, and went clockwise down the Swift Trail, up Big Creek Trail, and down High Peak Road. North facing slopes had several inches of snow, all other slopes were mostly snow free. It was great to play in the spruce-fir high country on the first day of winter.
