| no partners | | | It's a slow morning, so I'll post one final triplog from my Oregon getaway last September. I really don't know where Haystack Rock Trail is located, as Haystack Rock is located in the water. Its base is accessible during low tide by walking along the beach. You can explore the tidepools but you can't climb on the rock as it's a protected bird-nesting site. I easily trekked a good two miles going back and forth from my hotel room. If you've never been to the Oregon Coast this is an absolute must, especially post-Labor Day when the crowds have died down. |
