After 2 days of intermittent rain this hike was filled with lots of blue (clear sky) and green(early spring vegetation). Although I've done this hike more than a half-dozen times in the past, for some reason today's venture seemed to have more appeal. Less wind than before made travel across the saddles connecting the peaks more enjoyable. The climb up the last peak (not the cone which appears to be technical) was a bit slippery due to the recent moisture but nonetheless worth the effort. A dusting of snow and the partially clouded northern sky made Four Peaks stand out more than usual.
