| partners | | john wanted to check out bark's lower canyon after the recent rains, so after some discussion about the weather he proposed a variation of both miner's needle loop and bark's canyon lower loop
went up bluff spring, down lower bark's canyon, took dutchman around miner's needle, then back on bluff spring
had to put the rain gear on twice, once for a couple miles
bark's canyon had a little bit of standing water
loved the boulder hopping and the smooth rock - a little bit slick at times
showers moved in once through there, and the low clouds covering the peaks were pretty cool
at times we were completely enveloped by the low ceiling and couldn't even make out miner's needle
coming back down bluff spring, the sun started to break through
outstanding views throughout and another great hike with john |
