Cheryl and I were making a day trip to Jerome and decided to make a quick detour to the castle. I was here back in 1997 on my first visit to Phx. It felt great to return!

We made the walk down to the viewpoints and stopped by Beaver Creek. This is a fascinating area! With water flowing, it would be a wonderful place to live.

I'm thankful the NPS takes care of this monument! It's definitely worth the quick detour.
