| no partners | | I had forgotten what beautiful country you drive through going from Phoenix to Safford. On the way home from my little "vacation" in Safford, it was all I could do to refrain from pulling over several times and snapping some pictures. If I had done that, it probably would have been a 5 hour drive instead of 3 1/2 hours.
After coming over Gonzales Pass, I knew that my willpower to keep driving was down the tubes when I saw the Sunset. I finally pulled off the road somewhere around the Queen Valley junction and ran around in the dusky light like a crazy woman, trying to get a few shots and hoping that I wouldn't inadvertently find a Rattlesnake. 
It was, the Perfect Ending to a Perfect Week!!!  |
