Got into town after doing Bonita Creek with Chad, just in time to hit the Cabin and meet Nick. I knew from PM's that he would be in town working while I was here, so I invited him to join us for a hike. He had to work, so we planned a quick, scenic Hike so Nick could join us after work and not get back to Tucson too late.

We got started up the Swift Trail, stopping a few times so Chad could give Nick the lowdown on a couple of other Trails that Nick was interested in. Even though we didn't go up into the Pinaleno Range that far, it had been over 10 years since I had driven this Scenic Highway and it was as cool of a drive as I remembered. We got the cars parked at the "Trailhead" and started out. You could hear the water almost right away and it sounded great! Like I didn't get enough Water today.

Soon we came to the first set of Cascades and it was gorgeous. And of course, the picture taking commenced. :D We decided to follow the slick rock down and stay close to the Water, as soon as we promised Chad we wouldn't whine about having to bushwack back up to the Trail.

The Creek was wonderful as it tumbled and fell down the slabs of gray rock that guided it's route. Breathtaking pools that made me want to take a dip if it hadn't been so cool out at this time of day. We followed the Creek for just a little bit, then it was time to hit the Trail again. The bushwack wasn't bad at all and we hit the Trail and continued our descent down the little Canyon, crossing the Creek one more time before ending at the Noon Creek Campground. From there, we hiked the road back up to the cars, but not before Chad showed us the Big Falls that we had traversed around, when we were on the Trail. The view from the Swift Trail was a good one, the Falls were very impressive, and I will return to make sure that I get to see those up close!!!

Got back to the cars just a little after Sunset, talked for a few minutes and said our goodbyes to Nick. It was a great pleasure to meet you Nick!! Personally, I think that you should pick your Hiking Partners more carefully. I never heard you whine once... :sl:

Got to hand it to you Chad. You really know how to pick them!!! Quick and Scenic is putting it mildly...This one really gives you bang for your buck!!! :D

Great day all around. Thanks Chad and Nick for the awesome company!!!
