Of course, my Tour Guide was in fine form, and we stop at a couple of other places for Photo opportunities. Got to the Lake fairly late in the morning and decided that since we made the drive, we ought to at least zip around it on foot and enjoy it a little. What a great little Trout Lake and all around beautiful escape.... There's a little Trail that encircles the Lake on the shoreline, so we set off, armed with our cameras, of course....
The sky was a brilliant blue up there, and the Lake took on that magical blue reflection perfectly. It was a perfect example of a high altitude Trout Lake and about as picturesque as they come.
It is a small Lake, so even with the frequent picture stops, we were around it in no time. We paused for a few minutes to soak in the view and then headed for the vehicle, as we had a much bigger Hike planned for the day.
Will return to this Lake again, with time to spare and tackle in hand. Thanks, Chad, for fitting this one into our packed schedule for the day...It's another winner!!! |
