| partners | | H-E-DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS H-I-K-E! Actually it wasn't that bad except for the bushwhack part. Did I mention I don't like catclaw, Live Oak, Manzanita or anything that closely resembles any of that in the path of my travel.
If you took that part out of the hike I would say it was a great day and a really cool adventure. Old mines, and especially old cabins are super fun to check out and explore. This hike that Joe put together had no shortage of that. The drive in and the drive out was fun as well.
I'm trying to figure out how the back of my shirt got as dirty as the front? Even behind my pack was pure black. I just finished taking a 20 minute shower and when I got done and dried off the towel got dirty from all the dirt that was still on me. 
Looking back it was a great day overall. |
