Brian had never been there and wanted to go, and since I missed alot of the Creek on my last Hike a few weeks ago, I wasn't going to say no.... 
Got up at 4:30 and it was raining at the house. Looked at the weather and it didn't look too promising for the Rim area, but I figured what's the difference, we are going to end up getting wet one way or another, either from the Rain or the Swimming... 
Decided to do the Trail a little different, than when I came down it last time. This was about seeing the Creek so we turned right on the little "Spur" and took the Human Game Trail that stayed down at the actual Creek. There were places where the "Trail" disappeared somewhat, but we were both dressed for Wading and Swimming, so when that happened, we would just Wade the Creek up... 
One couple on the way in, with a young, "Blue" Weimeraner off leash. They were very courteous though and held the Dog when they saw us. I told them to let him go, since it was very apparent that he wanted to say an enthusiastic hello. And I'll never turn down visiting with a friendly Dog. 
The only other 2 people seen were two guys headed up the Trail as we were going back down. I would say for such a popular Hike as this, we had complete solitude for 99% of the Hike!!! 
I can pretty much predict that this will be a regular Hike for me. It's a pretty special place....Thanks for Hiking with me, Brian. Glad you were finally able to take a day and join me, it's been awhile! Looking forward to the next one!
