| no partners | | Did a lap around Riggs Lake. Lots of people camping, picnicing, and fishing up in the Pinalenos this weekend. Had my Fishing gear in the car, but between the amount of people fishing and the fact that I did not have the right Tackle to fish through the 50' band of algae that lined the Lakeshore, I opted to pass on the Fishing this time. I asked a few of the fishermen if they were having any luck, and it appeared from their answers that the "Bite" was not really on right now.
After I got done with my lap, Carl, the Camp Host, whom I knew from previous Trips, showed me a nice 300' Path that led to a fabulous Overlook, showing off the Vistas to the South and West of the Pinalenos. Very cool to know that right out of the Parking lot of a wonderful little Mountain Lake, you can pick out a rock and enjoy miles and miles of views... |
