| partners | | Fun day on the mountain with the girls and Good Bobby. Easy hiking until we got to the Josephine Saddle turn-off, then the trail pretty well disappeared. We bush-whacked it back to the saddle, and I was just plum wore out, so I stopped. It was actually nice to spend an hour just kicking back with the amazing views and the delightful weather. If only there'd been a single soft place to sit, I'd have been stylin'! I did manage to find a spot for a nap, but it was really just less pokey then the rest of the rocky ground, and I only dozed for a little while. Life really is very good!
On the way back, we took Cindy's new favorite route using the pipline and Roger's Rock and what not. It was a delightful change of pace from the Super Trail, especially since I've done that one a time or two or more.
Got some ice cream at DQ in Green Valley on the way home. I just doesn't get much better than that! |
