| no partners | | Took the family up here to check these ruins out after hiking Fay Canyon. Not a whole lot to see, but still pretty nice to see once. About as many pictographs as I've seen at a dwelling other than Keet Seel. The Site Host who you check in with at the parking lot was a Pink Jeep employee, which probably tells you the extent of influence that business has in the Sedona area these days. She was a very nice lady and had quite a lot of information about the area. At the end we noticed a second set of dwellings a few hundred feet to the right of the ones open to the public. I found a faint trail that junctions the main trail that looks like they would take you right to them, but decided only to walk about 50' or so before turning back  .
All in all, a very nice weekend in Sedona during an extended holiday break. |
