We drove to Superior and went east 10 miles on hwy 177 to the Primitive road going south. Drove that toward Battleaxe Mountain where an obvious parking spot is before going into the Post with White markings were. From there, we walked the road until we came to a trail marked 'Wilderness Trail". We hiked to the end of the trail, then continued to the junction of a canyon on the left. We went into that canyon, then climbed to the saddle above it to see the Box Canyon on the other side. We had a snack then returned the way we came in. It is a beautiful canyon.
