| no partners | | | We rode our scooters from Mesa to Safford and found our way to the parking area along the highway. We started on a trail leading to a ridgeline and walked it to the dam. There were a couple of places where there were deep cuts and loose gravely climbs. When we arrived above the dam, we spotted the jeep trail that we had not yet found. It was on the other side of the dam. We could have saved a lot of time and trouble by just walking up the road 100 yards to the jeep trail and walking the jeep trail to the dam. Oh well, it was fun finding another beautiful spot in this great state. |

Wildflowers Observation Light
We didn't see a lot of flowers, but there were lots of prickley pears and trees lining the creek and adjoining land. |
