I should know better going to Red Rocks on the weekend, especially a weekend with such beautiful weather. Fortunately everyone was pretty spread out. I took as many of the unimproved trails as I could to steer clear of others. Plenty of little lizards showing off their push ups to me. Made my way to the waterfall. There I found a hiking club of 20+ adults (55 years and up). I explored the creek for a while, waiting for them to finish enjoying the waterfall. I meandered off a bit after the waterfall just taking in the gorgeous weather. I ran into some burros on my way back, they were some healthy looking fellas! |
