| no partners | | 66 degrees sure beats 102 in Las Vegas. This is a very pleasant hike, my favorite on Mt. Charleston thus far. I got an early start but by the time I was heading out, there were plenty of people (and lots of pups) heading in. It probably started raining shortly after I left- bummer I missed it! The recent fire destroyed a few areas on the drive in via Kyle Canyon Rd. I wanted to venture the rest of the way up Kyle Canyon Rd (after the turn off to Lee Canyon) to see what else was burned, but I was low on gas. Nice excuse to go back, perhaps next weekend! |
